Confession. This homemade celery ginger turmeric juice was born out of the fact that I was too lazy to make my classic celery juice and my ginger turmeric juice shot separately. So I decided to try both recipes in one juice. I was skeptical at first, but was ultimately surprised how the mild flavor of the celery juice and the zesty bite of the ginger turmeric juice shot really went together so well!

All of the ingredients included have great benefits to your health! Celery has great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It’s also full of essential minerals and beneficial enzymes that are essential for bodily functions, support digestion, and improve gut health

Ginger is great for indigestion, reduces inflammation, lowers the risk of infections, and improves brain function. Also, studies show that ginger may reduce exercise-induced muscle soreness. Turmeric is a potent natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that is often used in Ayurvedic medicine. Black pepper may seem like a strange addition to this juice, but trust, it does a lot of work. Black pepper is high in antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties, may promote gut health, and it also improves the absorption of turmeric.

Homemade Celery Ginger Turmeric Juice | health is wellth


To make this juice, all you need is a juicer or a blender (plus a cheesecloth) to make it.

Fresh Celery Ginger Turmeric Juice

  • Servings: 1
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 2-3 knobs of ginger
  • 3 knobs of turmeric
  • 2 green apples
  • 1-2 tsp of lime juice
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of agave (or add an extra apple for a slightly sweeter taste)
  • If blending use a nut milk bag to strain the pulp

Directions

Juicer instructions:

  1. Wash all fruits & veggies
  2. Grab your bunch of celery and cut off the base and the top of each stalk
  3. Cut the celery stalks into smaller chucks and feed into the juicer
  4. Juice the celery
  5. Cut the green apple into chunks and put into the juicer, followed by ginger and turmeric
  6. Add the lime juice, agave, and black pepper, then stir
  7. Transfer to a cup and enjoy!

Blender instructions:

  1. Wash all fruits & veggies

Tip: Drink immediately after preparation on an empty stomach for best results.
